NEED A HAND?
Let's find
your way back.
A few simple fixes for the moments when a little gallery needs a little patience.
Email Vu Bui at buidinhvu@gmail.com for help with Art Break or a privacy request. Tell us what happened and which artwork or gallery you were viewing. Please leave out passwords, private conversations, and sensitive personal details.
The gallery says it’s using saved artwork details.
The museum connection may be temporarily unavailable. Art Break can show an earlier copy of the artwork details, along with the date they were saved. Images still come from the museum. Try again later for the latest details.
An image won't load.
Check your connection, then try again or follow the artwork’s museum link. If you’re in Muse, say “I can’t see the image—please try again.” You can still read the title and artwork credit while an image is unavailable.
The daily selection changed.
The Daily Three changes at the same time worldwide, which may be earlier or later than your local midnight. Check the date above the artworks. A friend’s invitation keeps its original three works, even after the daily selection changes.
A friend's invitation is unavailable.
Check that you copied the whole link. If one of the original artworks is no longer available, ask your friend for a new invitation. Your friend’s pick stays out of view until you choose, but it can be read in the link itself—it’s a playful reveal, not a secret ballot.
A card won't download or share.
Wait for the card preview to finish, then try again. If your device doesn’t offer sharing, download the card and send the saved image yourself. You can also copy the invitation link. Opening or closing your device’s sharing menu doesn’t mean the card was sent; finish sending it in the app you choose.
Search has no results.
Try a broader art-related term such as cats, flowers, or Monet. Only eligible public-domain artworks with images are returned. During a live-search outage, choose a mood-based gallery instead.
The gallery only partly matches my tastes.
Optional preferences rank a small curated collection, so all three works may not match every selection. Read the gallery's match explanation and any notice. Try fewer preferences or a broader search for a particular subject or artist. Ordinary mood-based galleries work without a preference profile.
There are not enough unseen works.
Art Break’s curated collection is small. If you ask Muse to skip works you’ve already seen, it may run out of new ones to show. You can allow repeats for your next break or search for a new subject. Muse should ask before showing works you asked it to skip.
My art break didn’t start.
Wait a moment and try again. If you’re using Muse, ask it to try your art break again. You can also choose a mood on the website.
Copying or printing needs help.
If the copy button doesn’t work, select the link in the field and copy it yourself. To print, follow your browser’s print dialog. A personalized gallery link includes the art preferences used to make it; a friend invitation includes the three artworks and your pick. See Privacy for more about shared links.
Where are my friend's results?
Art Break does not save votes, answers, recipient results, or popularity counts, and does not notify you when someone chooses. A friend can send you a new invitation with their own pick if they wish. No message is sent automatically.
